Pot limit hold em is ok. I prefer pot limit omaha. It's a great game and a good way to build a quick stack...

Technically, you can make more with the nuts in NL, but that's only if someone actually calls your all-in to double you up. Pot limit may actually increase your chance of getting a call...just have to max out each time to get close to all in.

I actually think that you get paid off more in pot limit because like limit if someone is chasing they don't have to call an all-in just either check or call then you know how much at most you have to pay.

Surely the main reason to play pot limit and fixed limit poker is to minimise the amount of money you can lose.

I prefer no limit over anything, but pot limit is all right, I just don't like the switch in strategy between the two games. I play no limit a lot, get used to that strategy, then when I play pot limit I end up messing up near the beginning because i forget it's a whole different game. (well not completely different, but you know what i mean )

To me pot limit is really not that much different from no limit. its just a matter of a few bettors to change it. i would just rather play limit or no limit
