I've never tried it but doubt I would like it.
For Ring games it would limit your ability to open with a raise preflop.
After the flop it would not affect my play as I never overbet the pot.
For Tournements it would seriously affect my end game play.
When I become shortstacked I want to be making All in moves and win the pot rather than bet the pot and become too pot commited to leave the hand if my opponent calls which is more likely than if I pushed all in.
I think the way this would affect a players ability to change gears as they become short stacked would tilt the balance of play in favour of luck and against skill.
As for smaller pots, I can see how that would allow better players more space to out play their opponents but I cant see the pots being much smaller as its very rare to see an overbet other than All ins from shortstacks which the good players will know how to deal with and the bad players will not.

I answer those thing what good about Limit, you don't lose so much money at time and people stop go all in the time, it can be kind of boring to lose all your money becuase of that. Actually I play No limit becuase I always win a lot

I find PL Hold'em is very similar to Omaha in that there are few pre-flop raises so it gives you a chance to see a lot of cheap flops and play small pots after the flop. This is great for me as it gives me a lot of opportunities to out-play my opponents after the flop which is by far my greatest strength. Just my two cents.

I love to play pot limit many of you who don’t know about pot limit lets have a look a game played with a pot-limit betting structure allows any player to raise up to an amount equal to the size of the whole pot before the raise. For example, let us assume that there is $10 in the pot at the start of a betting round. The first player may open the betting for up to $10. If he does in fact open for $10, the next player may raise to $40 (after calling the $10 bet, the total amount of the pot is $30, so he may raise $30). The third player would be entitled to raise to $140 (after calling $40, the pot would contain $100, thus he may raise $100). Any player may also raise less than the maximum so long as the amount of the raise is equal to or greater than any previous bet or raise in the same betting round.

Re: Loving Pot Limit
I prefer pot limit to limit. You can still steal blinds.
I like my omaha hi/lo. Ive been playing no limit hi/lo SNG's over at stars. Ive found it great, better than pot limit for some reason. Im taking the high hand and picking up chips from multiway pots from players chasin the low. It works well with pot limit but I seem to get a better return on the nl.

Re: Loving Pot Limit
I like the safety net of pot limit. I feel I keep getting outdrawn when I land hands like AA in a limit game. I have a little flexibility in my betting and it can prevent me from getting a rush of blood to the head by going allin when Im on tilt.
Tilting isnt something I do often but when I do I have seen my full nights bankroll disappear.
The best think about pot limit is playing against flat callers. A pot sized raise usually pushes the other players off the hand. I would rather win a pot without seeing the cards. Instead of going allin and risking my full bankroll on a hand, I have a preset limit to play with. So I guess, the pot limit game forces my discipline a little.

Oddly enough on PokerStars, their pot limit HE games start at .10/.25. I'm not sure as to their reasoning behind this, because you can play limit games for as low as .02/.04...
I love pot limit as well, but can't really add anything more to the discussion than what's already been said.

Re: Loving Pot Limit
I'm with bobbysands90, and also like pot limit if it's an Omaha Hi/Lo game.
There are many times where I get hands like; A,J,3,5. Two face cards along with two low cards
It's not all the time you will win with those kind of hands, but in regular Omaha that's not a bad hand.
You can usually get a split pot off the low cards if the table works in your favor.
In pot limit it may get a little tricky with a hand like this, especially if you're in a freeroll where nearly everyone is betting all their chips.
I still tend to go to the river card if I have my low hand on the turn card.
Pot limit Hold'em is another animal of a game to play, and one I wouldn't want to play too agressively.
There's always that one person who will call or raise your pre-flop bluff, and then it becomes a stand-off; will I lose or will I win, if I call the raise?
