Nah, that won't be necessary. Right here is as good as place as any for them, plus this way, if I miss a week or something I won't feel bad for letting you all down. Too much pressure if I have my own section lol.
And yes IC, this will be good, I'm promising it. I guarantee a couple of my posts will be mindblowing to many of you. I plan on not on only just explaining the different strategies and concepts, but explaining WHY you should do them. I will be explaining why a certain play is profitable both mathematically and conceptually (is that the right word? lol) I want everyone to know the thought process behind making the correct decisions so that they can go beyond regurgitating what play to make in a certain scenario they read in a book, and decide for themself what the correct play is. I want people to go outside the "NL Rocks" box. I'm hoping that by explaining what a deep and strategical game that fixed limit is, I can get a few more people to play the game the way it is meant to be played. Far too many people view fixed limit hold'em as the same game as NL except you can't bet as much as you want, when in reality they couldn't be more wrong. FL Hold'em is as different from NL Hold'em as 7 card stud is as different from PL Omaha, at least in a strategical sense. FL Hold'em, to me, is a different game all together, and a different game requires a different strategy. Most players think you can just go from NL to FL and back to FL using the same hand selection, pre-flop play, and betting strategy etc . . . This is the kind of mentality I want to eliminate.
I hope that by putting the finer points that make FL hold'em such a great game I can get a few more people interested (And hopefully convince Holis to try to put a few more FLHE games in our schedule). FL Hold'em is quickly becoming my game of choice, and hopefully you'll see why when you read some of my strategy. I can honestly say that I have not had a losing week using this new strategy I've been developing, although my win rate is slightly lower than where I'd like it to be (about 10bb/hour). Notice I did say developing, so I'm also hoping to get a lot of feedback during this process so I get a chance to learn as well.
And Force, no I'm not, but my father's name was George. lol Also, I've heard that before. Many of my teachers in HS told me I should look at going in to advertising. lol
