It always has. I just seem to run very cold whenever I play it. Last noight I tried it again, and it seemed like a great poker opportunity. There was a total donk on my left. He saw 100% of the flops while I was at the table. He would cold call 3 bets with 74o pre-flop. I love having this guy at the table.

I can't catch a break against him, though. Could not get a hand to showdown that would hold up. I dumped about 20 BB to him over 70 hands or so and then I logged off. I was getting grumpy and it was late. I didn't want to lose sleep over it.

The poker gods hate me when I play short hand limit holdem.

My gosh how I can relate to that!

I can't tell you the number of times I've seen a guy dropping money like a prostitute drops her panties, yet having him beat me repeatedly. It drives me nuts. It seems like everyone is feasting on him while you end up with a loss.

In terms of shorthanded limit hold'em, I can say overall I've always done pretty well. It's one of the few games where I don't feel like I need the best possible hand to win, since players often call with less than top pair.
