I've been playing RAZZ for years. The thing you have to know that will help you in the long run is your starting hand. I like to have a 7 or lower to start. If my hand gets worst by 5th street I dump it. It's poker and your starting hand is always the most important thing.

RAZZ= Nut low
like 7 stud except it is 5 lowest cards. Basically u get 2 throwaways.
NUTS is 5432A.
straights and suit do not matter

AP poker has a great razz game for free if you want to learn. They even have a razz play money free roll in the afternoon.

I've only played Razz a few times...I understand it okay, but I just think its dumb. its basically, 7 card stud/lo. no high....Silly to play a game like that i think, but i do occasionally.

I personally love razz I think it is a nice change of pace from holdem and it requires some thought just rember flushes and straights don't count against you it is bad to pair up and look at what the others are betting for instance if someone makes a large bet and they are showing king jack 10 in there upcards the best hand they can possibly have is a ten low if you already beat it bet it

had my Q as lo the other night playing razz

depends on you're lowest 5 cards & how many ppl are in the hand, too many ppl in & a Q would be no good in most cases.....4 of us in the hand & everyone checking & it was lo, because i was the only one that had 5 different cards
