Just remember that my above advice is for a loose low limit game. At higher limits you CAN get people to lay down hands.

Razz is a great game if you enjoy a fun experience. just wait for the 2 hole cards an ur 1st show card to all be below the 8 and see the hand through. calling alot of raises with 1 or 2 low cards is pointless as your odds of making your and are not that good to begin with. Betting on the 4 card in your set is ok, but try to catch the nuts before you lay into another player(s) who are in the hand.

Now that Absolute Poker has Razz, I am starting to paly it a lot. Some things that help me win is to play any 2 low cards from the starting 3. But keep in mind that you have to look at other peoples cards as well. If you have low cards but other do as well i would just fold and not take a chance. It can be quite eaqsy to bluff if you see your oppenent(s) have high cards as well.

When i play razz it is usually in a live game poker night of dealers choice...differance is we only use 3 cards with nut low A23....and you get a double draw of up to all 3 cards....any pair pretty much knocks you out..unless EVERYONE has a pair that is higher than yours..its a lot of fun that way but i dont really like the online version too much

i have only played a few RAZZ tourny's but i find its easier to play a hand when you have 2 or more low cards to start with. because its limit you have a good chance to see a few more cards before you either commit or fold. i wont play the hand unless i have 2 low cards or maybe an A and an to start with. heads up is tricky with the game i learned but as long as you stick with the same strategy you should do fine.
