thats not razz... thats like saying I play 7 card stud but we only play with 3 cards. The game you are talking about we play it here and call it winnipeg low, I dont know if it has any other names.

I also see you are banned from this site and I am lmao, cuz you banned me from your site for not buying into a game I couldnt play.

I Always Start With Any Hand Lower The 8. If I Pair Or Go High By 5th St. I Drop Easy Peasy

Default razz strategy

I do best when I don't start with anything higher than an 8. Sometimes a 9 depending on what upcards are showing and if i can get in at bring in price. Also if betting is slow and you have best upcards bet away.

I agree with Smitty. I try to limit my starting hand selection to 3 cards 8 or lower. I am by no means a great razz player but I enjoy it for a change every once and awhile. Of course you have to watch what your opponents have showing and play accordingly.

If my first 3 cards dealt are not below an 8, then I will fold automatically because this usually gives me a better chance of winning. I am also still learning this game but I am getting better. In the beginning, I thought if you had a hand at all like A-A-2-3-4-5-5, which gave me two pair then I folded the hand not knowing that it was OK because it would just extract the lowest 5 cards and I actually had the lowest winning hand of A-2-3-4-5 so I am sure that when I first started playing the game, other players were happy to see me at their table. LOL
