Default Biscuit Poker Update

Forget about Ivey, Helmuth, and Negreanu - I know EVERYONE wants to know about me and my poker life, right?

Well, I was off traveling for my job, and was having trouble with my internet connection while I was there - as posted elsewhere - so I did not get to play much. Then I hit a snag. A doctor where I was decided I should be on medication for high blood pressure, so he sent me home to get some. Problem is, my doctor here does not agree that I should be on medication for my blood pressure. Now its a ping pong match to see what happens next.

In the meantime, I get to be home and to play some more poker!

LOL.... Well at least you can play some poker.
But seriously, be sure to get those docs to agree on something....you don't wanna take meds if you don't have to...but at same time...if you need them you should get them.

Maybe you were stressing when you were at the out of town doc's office... I know I stress when traveling, and that could be why your BP was a bit high.

Actually, I went to see the doc because I thought I was having a hernia. I'm fairly sure being in pain raises the bp.

One for the guys - getting a hernia check has always been a rather benign experience in the past. But, I thought this doc was trying to lift me up with his index finger! Easy on the sore parts, Doc!

No hernia, just a pulled muscle or something.

HAHAHA - reminds me of a Bill Engvall skit - When he asks the doc if he could tell what he was thinkin'.

Doc says "No Why?"

Bill, "Cause your touching my brain!"

Glad everything's ok now, Biscuit! Also glad that you didn't take the advice of some 'new' doctor and that you followed up with your regular physician. While it's always good to get checked out if you're having problems when you're away from home, they really don't know your history at all....and shouldn't be making medication recommendations. They should simply tell you to follow up with your regular doctor.
