Until we are sure they have truly cleaned up their act, we cannot recommend you playing at Absolute

Apparently there was a bunch of cheating going on - it appears to be cleaned up now but I would wait a bit to make sure there is no more fallout.

I applaud this warning. Note that Absolute and Ultimate Bet are jointly owned and managed, and UB had a big cheating problem as well.

Here's a great link regarding this at Wizard of Odds site.

It really goes in depth about the fishy hands raised in the allegations against Absolute Poker.

To sum it all up:

Quote:
Of these 93 hands, POTRIPPER won 56 times, in an average 8.13 players per hand. Assuming all players are equally skilled you would expect 11.49 wins. POTRIPPER was 14.03 standard deviations above expectations. The probability of luck this good or better is 1 in 1.88 1044. It would be easier to buy a 6/49 lottery ticket in six different states, and hit the jackpot all six times. Still, could it still just be chip dumping, or playing very bad players? The playback, in my opinion, shows otherwise.
Case closed

And, think what you want, but I'm 99.9% certain that blackjack at Absolute Poker is rigged. I've been playing blackjack for 15 years, and I've NEVER seen anything like what I've witnessed there.

I seem to remember there was a really good rogues gallery page on the drawdead website. Thing is Dom, I can't seem to find it anymore. Has it gone or am I going screen blind?

Thanks Dom,

I know there must be many sites on this list, and it would be great to see them. So many poker sites around, its hard to pick one good one to play at.

Players have a winning record playing blackjack at AP. I have a affiliate account with them & at the end of each month AP send out their crack team of blackjack players to wipe out any positive revenue I have received. Do I beleive that? Not a chance in hell. They are still a dodgy outfit and always will be. They are just making more effort to avoid detection.

For the record, I chose to blacklist AP before the scandal came out and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Here is a great link and goes into depth.

http://casino-directory.lots0cash.co...hall_of_shame/

The only 2 (US) sites I will play at are pokerstars/Fulltilt.

Here is a list of sites/network in order of traffic

1 PokerStars (good)
2 Full Tilt Poker (decent)
3 iPoker Network (i dont play there much, spammy group, dad had payment issues)
4 PartyPoker (faltering, software laggy & casino is questionable)
5 Ongame Network (Best avoiding)
6 Everest Poker (Never played there)
7 Cereus Network (AP/UB under a new image, avoid like the plague)
8 IPN (Boss Media) (lots of skins, some good some bad)
9 CakePoker Network (Im not so sure, some swear by it)
10 Svenska Spel (I cant speak swedish and dont like playing in euros)
11 Entraction Network (Seem to be moving forward)
12 Microgaming Network (poker software crap, casino results questionable)
13 PacificPoker (I avoid because of the software)
14 Bodog (heading for the gutter)
15 PKR (drains your PC, extremely laggy, worth avoiding)

What about Doyles Room, now that they've moved over to the Cake network? I notice that it didn't even make your list..

edit: nvm, I noticed you covered the Cake Network as a whole...

Is it because of the software issues they had early on? As far as I can see and what I hear, all the bugs are finally gone.
