Re: Absolute Poker, Ultimate Bet and Kahnawake
For what it's worth, any site who's affiliated with the Kahnawake Gaming Commission is not worth my business. A number of online Poker sites are involved with these guys that have been reported on various blacklists.
In addition, the KGC's relation to Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet and the lack of response sufficient to quell player concerns about payouts, and whether or not anyone's being brought to justice or similar action is taking place, indicates that not only are they unwilling to step forward and give the general Poker community some much-needed support, but also brings to light the possibility that an affiliation with a certain ex-chief may be in their continued interests.
(Be careful with some of these alleged blacklists and review sites. Some of them don't do their research fully or don't update their pages. I'm annoyed with how many of these appear to refuse to place a timestamp on a review to indicate whether or not it's been recently updated.)

So very true...KGC has a lot of bark, but no bite. If anyone remembers, the first time these allegations came into light, KGC handed down what was basically a slap on the wrist.

Re: Absolute
Absolute Poker and Ultimate Poker should be permanently blacklisted.
They have not changed their ways. recent events have proved they have no intention of changing their ways.
Anyone who has been following the stories and continues to play there (winning player or not) is a fool and deserves to be robbed of their bankroll.
Phil Helmuth is either a moron for fronting a group like that or he is being blackmailed over the cheating scandal, I cannot see any other reason for a one respected, talented player to go down that road.

Re: Absolute
I agree Bobby,
I refuse to promote either of these groups and i can't understand how any professional poker player can want to be associated with them either??
Boggles the mind. Thanks for the good work and the blacklisting...its important.

Re: Absolute
carbon poker on the merge network in my opinion is a very good site. i very rarely get bad beats on the river. they do happen of course but way, way way less times than your fulltilt

Re: Absolute
Thank you for update BeetleBaily, and a big Welcome to the forum!
I like the Carbon and Cake poker networks too. Never could get much action at FullTilt or the others mentioned above...too many all-ins in tourneys.
