Post bwin.party, 888poker.net, Ultimate Poker and Betfair New Jersey have been approved

It seems NJ is following Delaware for legalized online gambling. It's set to roll out later this month

On Friday, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement released a list of Internet gaming companies which have received a transactional waiver, thereby allowing them to "engage in Internet gaming activities" once the market launches on Nov. 26.

Among the companies approved on Friday were Caesars Interactive Entertainment, bwin.party, 888, Ultimate Poker, Betfair and Amaya Gaming, all of which will be eligible to participate in the "soft launch" trial period beginning on Nov. 21.

Thank you for the update beaston. This answers the question we have all been asking about what is going on with New Jersey and online gaming.

Glad to see that more states are going online and am hopeful that it will soon find more and more states going to the online gaming scene.

Again, thanks for the update.

Thanks beaston!

I was wondering how long it would take NJ to get their paperwork together to start their online gambling.

It shouldn't be too long now for several more states to get the bandwagon rolling. I wonder if Florida will be one of them?

Im thinking that most of the East Coast states will get into the online poker etc before it spreads to the rest of the country.

I still havent seen or heard anything about Ohio planning to go into the online poker or slots thing. But that figures. We are usually last in everything.

Well, I think it's official now; New Jersey's first week of online gambling went well during their first week of operations in late November 2013.

New Jersey is the third state to offer internet gambling, but it's the first state to offer online casino slot games and table games.

The talk through the grapevine says that internet or online gambling may be accessible to all US players starting next year.

Joy of joys!
