I noticed that Club WPT has legal poker for US players and is offering a two-week free trial to play in poker tournaments with cash prizes.
At
ClubWPT poker there are no buy-ins to play in their poker tournaments, and as the caption states at the top of their site, it's "100% Legal, No Deposits, No Buy-Ins, No Risk!"
Basically, Club WPT poker is a club for US poker players and players from around the world. You can play for two weeks and then opt-in to their club, with monthly, quarterly or yearly club fees.
Their monthly club fee is just $19.95 and you get a discount for the quarterly and yearly fees:
"Quarterly at $53.85 for 3 months. (A savings of 10%.)"
"Annually at $179.40 for 12 months (BEST VALUE: A savings of 25%.)"
Club WPT poker has legal poker for US players, but some states are restricted from playing at
ClubWPT, and those states are; Alabama, Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Missouri, South Dakota, Arkansas, Indiana, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Washington, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi and South Carolina.
Hopefully the above mentioned states will soon be allowed to play online poker for real money.
We'll have to wait and see what the US Congress has up their sleves, whenever they decide to pass an online gambling bill for US players.
