Players ante up, and then are dealt 2 cards, after looking at your dealt cards, you must decide wether to bet or stay. you are then dealt a third card, if that third card falls inbetween your previous two cards, You Win! Its that simple!
But of course, thier are better hands than others, and hands that pay more than others. Below is a break down of odds, and payout schedule.

When the first two cards have consecutive ranks (for example, 5 and 6), then the hand is a tie and all bets are returned to the player.

If the first two cards have the same rank, the third card is automatically dealt. If the third card has the same rank as the first two, the player wins eleven times the initial bet. If the third card is different than the first two, the game is a push, and all bets are returned to the player.

Red Dog is a card game similar to Acey-Deucey and In-Between. The game is played on a blackjack-sized table with two betting spots -- "bet" and "raise" -- using a 52-card deck. Only three cards are played per hand. Card suit is not relevant in Red Dog.

Thank you belle for the info about Red Dog poker.

I've never played red dog before and would like to try playing it some day.

Perhaps I will check in at one of the Las Vegas casinos on my next visit and try one of the red dog teaching sessions, if they have them.

If they don't, I can always ask the casino manager how I would go about learning to play red dog without having to pay first. I'm sure they would accommodate me.

I still haven't play red dog poker yet, even after all this time. Maybe it's because there are not many poker rooms that offer red dog in their poker lineup.

Oh well, perhaps one day I'll be lucky enough to find a red dog poker game and play it.
And I guess there is one place I could look to find red dog poker, at online caisnos.

I've noticed red dog in the table games section in a couple online casinos.
Maybe I'll check it out one day.
