Default Texas Holdem Bonus

I think Sklansky invented this game for Harrahs. It plays like holdem, but you're against the house. I won almost $500 playing it at the Imperial Palace one night. Are any online casinos offering it?

This game, like 3 card poker, is a great way to grind away at; which means you can see more hands to have a chance for a big bonus payout. For Las Vegas, the HA rivals that of Blackjack.

The Wizard of Odds comes through once again with an awesome breakdown for this game...

I'm not quite sure what the difference between Atlantic City and Las Vegas rules are, but the HA is over double in Atlantic City.

Quote:
The lower right cell shows a house edge of 2.037%. [Las Vegas rules] However I think this makes the game look like a worse bet than it really is. What this means is that for every dollar bet on the ante the player can expect to lose 2.037 cents. However by the end of the hand the average wager will be 3.8181 times the ante. So the element of risk, or ratio of loss to total amount bet is a much lower 2.037%/3.8181=0.5335%. The standard deviation is 3.500839.

Its a very fun game, and very social. The players are not playing against each other like in real poker, so everyone is cheering for each other to win. Its a great table game.

Me and Hubby played that in Vegas a while back...think it was at the Mirage. Yeah it is fun, and all the other players cheer you on etc.
But I will warn ya, the cards can start turning in dealer favor just like blackjack, at one point I was up, next down.
