Default Horse tips

one of my fav games...

1) Every player has their weak game.
2) focus on players' weak games.
3) dont focus on weak players (you might end up playing them at their own game)
4) just watch the players who dont play a round and take notes.
5) get to HU and crush them on your own terms.

Got that right.

I notice that many players forget what Razz is all about when it comes around in a HORSE game.

Kinda wish they would fold when they should at times.

I normall keep quiet in poker games, but conversations will usually get stared when someone types in "nh" when I win a pot. I will respond with "ty" and move on with the game.

Most of my online poker room names are DynoDon and shortly after a win someone will type in "Dyno" and we would start a trivial conversation that usually doesn't last too long, until a couple other players join in and we end up chatting and become friends so to speak.

Some of us will end up at the final table, to congradulate on good hands and perhaps spark up another conversation, until one of us has a good hand and then everything will get quiet again.

If one of us has a good hand against the other, after everyone has folded due to a big raise by either of us, then one of us would ask, "so, what do you have? Do you have the strait?"

I just try to have a fun game overall, if it's possible.

Great tips..Not sure there's much more to add.

Well, other than the fact that you need to keep an eye on the games if you're playing more than one table. A couple of months ago I was doing this, and ended up playing a hand to the river with a 6 low and no pairs and wondered why I lost the pot. Until I looked up and saw that the game had switched to stud...and not hi/lo. In the back of my mind during the hand I was wondering why they kept calling bets/raises with a pair showing and only 1 or 2 low cards....but the hand moved too fast for me to put 2 and 2 together.

Thats a fairly common mistake. It usually happens switching from razz to stud and well worth noting

I had noticed the same thing from switching from razz to stud, you have to keep your eyes open for the switch.
If you watch for the blind changes, this is usually when the next game starts.

There has been a couple times where I would get caught in a chat when a change was made, and when someone would raise I would call if I thought I had a good hand, but now make it my reflex to look up at the top of the game window just to see which game I'm playing before calling.
