Thank you for the info pokergirl40. I like to read about what each poker game consist of, since I do forget from time to time (getting older).

I do know that the dealer button is also usually marked "Dealer" and I think it's on both sides.
The Dealer button is about 3 or 4 times larger than a normal poker chip.
It is white on the top and bottom and the edge has a black band around it (for the ones I've seen).

I hope this extra info helps somewhat.

I tried my hand at a HORSE poker tournament this past weekend and didn't do quite as well as I had expected...
Well, other than having to leave the house a couple times to do outside chores.

I came back to the game and had enough credits to play one more hand while Omaha hi/lo was playing, got lucky to win half of the pot...
Played a few more hands and lost it all.

Another game I like playing is 8 Game poker, it's like HORSE but with a couple other games tossed in the mix; Limit 2-7 Triple Draw, No Limit Holdem, and Pot Limit Omaha.

The Limit 2-7 Triple Draw is the fist game in 8 Game poker, and the last two mentioned above are the last two games played; with the HORSE games in the middle (8 Game poker games/letters: THORSEHA).

I lasted a couple hours in the 8 Game poker tournament game and went out in 72nd place.

There were only a few hundred players who signed up for this tourney, so the money pots were set for the top 24 players (missed it by that |-| much).

I haven't played HORSE in quite awhile now, not that it's been since Feb when I played last.

Looks like I'll have to head over to Poker Stars or one of the other free poker playing sites that offer HORSE games and get back into the action again.
